One Manchester is an innovative provider of housing and community services, formed in April 2015 from a merger between two of Manchester’s largest housing associations (i.e. City South and Eastlands Homes). In the subsequent years the Group has achieved its initial merger aspirations and is now extending and expanding its new homes’ programme across a range of tenures and locations. One Manchester currently owns and manages more than 12,000 homes in central, south and east Manchester and the 30 year business plan requires a significant annual programme of work for Asset investment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Manager to join our team to deliver a comprehensive financial service. Within this role you will be responsible for the provision of reporting and budget management, ensuring that you are providing timely and accurate information. You will provide direct leadership to your team, working closely with them to develop and maintain effective financial systems and processes, including the Group’s payroll service.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar financial/accounting role and as such will be able to demonstrate knowledge of related processes such as financial reporting, statement audits and application/process development. A confident communicator, you will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similarly qualified and will have excellent people management skills.
