Full Time Temporary 12 Months Maternity Cover

An exciting apprenticeship opportunity has arisen for a Money Advice Assistant to join us on a full time 12-month maternity contract to assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective, customer focused Money Advice Service.

You will take a lead role in supporting customers signing new tenancies to ensure they fully understand their responsibilities for payments of rent, as well as providing ongoing comprehensive administrative support to the Money Advice team. You will deal with large volumes of incoming calls as the first point of contact within the team; effectively dealing with a broad range of queries from customers, colleagues and external agencies.

This is a fast paced, busy team where attention to detail is key and so the successful Money Advice Assistant must thrive on achieving excellent outcomes for customers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a good understanding of Universal Credit and other benefits. Candidates must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing their workload and prioritising appropriately to meet deadlines. Knowledge of, and the ability to use a wide range of IT systems is also essential.
