Joining us as a Registrations and Support Manager, you will be responsible for the management of services relating to the processing of applications for rehousing; the mutual exchange service and tenancy ready support.

Supporting the promotion, continuous improvement and expansion of the service, you will manage the registration for housing effectively, ensuring the necessary checks are carried out and information provided and manage the Tenancy Ready Service; providing support for customers and challenging inappropriate behaviour to ensure that there is a framework in place before the sign up of tenancies to ensure that tenancies are sustainable.

You must also lead on new projects and initiatives as required and work to continually improve the services provided.

Candidates for this role must be comfortable in taking the lead and using initiative, have an understanding of how to motivate a team and the ability to use a coaching style of management to bring out the best in individuals and develop a self-reliant team.  Confident and able to challenge negative behaviours to foster a positive working environment, you will possess some knowledge of housing management and law and recognise the worth of creating a culture where every individual is valued, regardless of their differences.

Good IT skills are essential, as is the use of a car and driving licence.
