About Riverside Group
Riverside are proud to be one of the leading registered providers of social housing in the UK, offering affordable housing and support to people of all ages and circumstances.
Riverside is a group of complementary businesses driven by a clear social purpose, with a charitable housing association at its core. Established over 90 years ago, we have grown to become a major provider of affordable housing, care and support services in England and Scotland, and following our partnership with One Housing Group have over 75,000 homes in management. Operating at scale across over 160 local authorities, our vision is to transform the lives of the people we house and revitalise the neighbourhoods in which they live. Our national Care and Support business provides specialist supported services to people across the country – from Carlisle to Dover and from Bristol to Hull. Alongside our award-winning Care and Extra Care services and our national portfolio of over 190 Retirement Living schemes, we are one of the country’s largest providers of services for people affected by homelessness – providing accommodation-based, outreach and floating support to over 12,000 people every year.
We are proud to work in partnership to end homelessness across the Greater Manchester Combined Authority where we provide a mix of social housing, supported services for people affected by homelessness as well as Retirement Living accommodation. Our specialist supported services work with partners in Bolton, Rochdale, Wigan & Leigh, Manchester, Oldham and Salford and include: Supported housing, specialist accommodation for ex-offenders, for young females, a specialist LGBTQIA+ A Bed Every Night service and rough sleeper outreach. We are a founding partner of the Street Engagement Hub as well as the Real Change alternative giving initiative and lead partner in the Manchester GM Housing First zone.
