Living Well in Greater Manchester – Capturing the Social Value of GMHP Report 2025

GMHP is proud to publish Living Well in Greater Manchester – our 2025 report highlighting the powerful social value created by our members across the city region.

The report celebrates the real-life impact GMHP members are making in helping people live healthier, happier, and more connected lives and highlights GMHP’s active support for the region’s Live Well movement, promoting community-led health and wellbeing.

While GMHP is actively committed and engaged in all three of GM Housing First Priorities – Supply, Standards, and Support, the case studies in this report particularly highlight our strong dedication to the Mayor’s Support priority.

Living Well in Greater Manchester is designed to inspire collaboration and innovation across our network and with partners by shining a light on the impactful work already underway across the city region. From employment and skills programmes to tackling loneliness and promoting digital and financial inclusion, GMHP members are delivering local and accessible solutions that deliver lasting social value.

As anchor institutions rooted in local communities, we are committed to working together to ensure that everyone in Greater Manchester has the opportunity to live well.

GMHP is a unique partnership of housing providers working together to make a positive difference to people and communities across Greater Manchester.

This document highlights in a very practical way the great work our members are doing, sharing examples of how we are working at a local level to make a difference to the lives of our customers and the neighbourhoods we work in. Its purpose is to promote this work amongst ourselves, our partners and our supply chains.

Through our work on the Support priority, we are making a huge contribution to the Live Well and Ageing In Place Pathfinders. We also work in partnership with other key stakeholders across the city region to encourage us all to work differently to achieve better outcomes for our customers and communities.
