About Arawak Walton
With its roots in the African Caribbean community, Arawak Walton champions the provision of quality affordable homes in sustainable multi-cultural neighbourhoods. Arawak Walton has a proud heritage in helping to create vibrant and sustainable multi-cultural neighbourhoods in inner-city areas.
With more than 25 years’ experience, we understand the challenges of social deprivation and exclusion and have worked hard to provide good quality, affordable housing to our residents, regardless of age, gender or race.
We are proud of what we have achieved so far, and we are committed to continuing this good work, exploring all opportunities to ensure the communities we create continue to be both safe havens and places to thrive. We are passionate about what we do and we are passionate about people.
We employ 33 highly trained and committed staff members and we support thousands of people in over 1000 homes across Manchester, Stockport, and Trafford. We are now the largest independent black and minority ethnic (BME) Housing Association in the North West, with an asset base of around £57 million and turnover in the region of £5 million.
We aim to stay true to our roots, continuing to deliver good quality, affordable housing and services to support our local communities.
