GMHP secures funding for Live Well in Later Life programme
GMHP has secured grant funding through the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to support the rollout of the Live Well in Later Life (LLWL) programme across the partnership. The funding will strengthen housing-led approaches to improving social connection, belonging and participation for older residents.
The programme builds on strong foundations from the Ageing in Place Pathfinder and will help embed age-friendly, place-based approaches within neighbourhoods, ensuring older peoples’ voices shape services and communities.
The funding will expand GMHP’s existing capacity to include a dedicated LWLL Project Support Officer resource to support delivery across the partnership. We will focus on sharing learning, developing practical tools, and working with partners to deliver activity that improves social connection and reduces isolation among older tenants, while enabling housing providers to implement the LWLL approach more effectively at a local level.
