Based in the Northwest, Maxmedia provides services to registered housing providers and the connected commercial sector across the UK.

Social Value

Maxmedia Communication is a whole owned subsidiary of Bolton at Home. Our role within the group is a ‘profit for purpose’. The profits from our commercial activities are re-invested back into the groups wider social value strategic delivery plan. While our wider exposures within the sector allows not only our group but clients and prospective clients to gain deeper insights, sector knowledge and access to partnership working.

Case Study

We were delighted to be selected to work with Placeshapers (a working group representing over 100 social landlords) on their We Care campaign. We interviewed 20 chief executives to find out what ‘We Care’ meant to them and their organisations, the types of caring services they provide and the challenges they face. At the same time, we elicited pledges to the ‘We Care’ drive.

Based on this information, we produced a short film of street poet Hussain Manawer reciting a commissioned piece, entitled ‘Knock Knock’. We organised a ‘We Care’ day for individuals and housing associations to pledge their time volunteering in their communities.

The hugely successful campaign brought together housing associations from right across the UK and saw almost 3,000 volunteer hours pledged.
