GMHP’s Live Well priority drives forward collaborative work across the partnership, recognising the critical role of housing in improving health and wellbeing across Greater Manchester.

By bringing all our work in relation to housing, health, and support together, GMHP’s Live Well priority promotes greater independence, wellbeing, and opportunities for our residents aligning with the region’s Live Well movement, promoting community-led health and wellbeing.

Our key Live Well priorities:

• Supporting better health outcomes – helping customers achieve improved health, wellbeing, and independence
• Place-based collaboration – working with multi-agency neighbourhood partners to strengthen links between housing, health, and social care
• Customer focus and inclusion – engaging with and listening to our customers to ensure services meet the needs of all communities

GMHP’s Live Well priority is structured around a series of workstreams providing focus, leadership and innovation across the partnership. They include: ageing well, social inclusion, housing access, digital inclusion, healthy homes, and skills and employment.

Looking ahead, GMHP Live Well will aim to influence and engage across the Greater Manchester system. By aligning our work and building stronger partnerships, we aim to maximise value for money, create shared benefits, and secure the resources needed to deliver long-term change.
